Restaurant payment application launches in Toronto

Tab, a mobile payment application targeted to diners, has announced the launch of the application in Toronto. The application will enable customers to have access to mobile payment options, allowing diners to pay in just two clicks as opposed to waiting to pay the bill.

The new application will put the customers first, offering a convenient and secure form of payment using mobile technology. Recognizing how to benefit the users, the application was developed to ensure lower processing fees, faster table turnover, streamlined design, and easy to-access account information.

“I am excited to be involved with Tab. To put the convenience of mobile payments into the hands of more people is the goal,” says Mike Kimel, investor in Tab, and owner of several restaurants. “Our clients consider time as currency, so anything we can do to expedite the bill payment process and save them time, we will embrace.”

“No one enjoys waiting for the bill, and splitting it is always a pain, Tab eliminates cards and wireless terminals so you can enjoy your company and meal,” says Adam Epstein, co-founder of Tab. “Toronto has made its mark as an incredible dining destination, but the city has also emerged as an international leader in mobile payments, we couldn’t be more excited to launch Tab here in Toronto.”
