Harris+Hoole chooses Judo Payments to power its latest app

Judo Payments has announced its collaboration with UK coffee shop chain Harris + Hoole (H+H). Judo has worked alongside H+H to include payments in the latest version of their mobile app, offering customers a seamless checkout experience.

By integrating judo’s technology, H+H’s app offers the utmost flexibility and convenience for their customers by streamlining the ordering and payment process.

The new payment feature enables customers to add a pre-paid balance to the app that is then used to pay for items in store. The experience is frictionless:  the customer ‘checks in’ via the app, selects their order and their balance is seamlessly updated. Regular customers can also set up ‘my usual’ orders, further simplifying the checkout process.

The new payment experience is currently available at selected H+H stores, but will be officially rolled out to all stores throughout the summer.

Danielle Anderson, director of digital experience at H+H said: “Offering H+H consumers payments via the app is a compelling part of our overall customer journey. judo was chosen to help H+H deliver an easy to use and secure charging interface, which allows our customers to get even more value.”

“The Harris+Hoole app delivers a digital experience to customers that far surpasses anything seen so far on the UK high street,’ said Michael De Jongh, VP of sales and marketing at Judo Payments. “It sets Harris+Hoole apart as the only brand of coffee shops that truly understands its customers and what they want.”
