Teller deploys PowaTag tech in Nordic-wide partnership

Teller will introduce PowaTag payment technology to its Nordic consumer-base following an agreement with Powa Technologies.

The agreement will target Teller’s 94,000 strong client-base and “will add value and help thousands of merchants to leverage multiple channels, so they can generate more sales and better engage with shoppers ,” comments Powa Technologies CEO and founder Dan Wagner.

“Powa offers our partners a simple, robust suite of commerce solutions that are fully customisable and with which they can start tapping into growing areas of new business online, in-store and anywhere in between,” he continued.

PowaTag is designed to transform consumer shopping behaviour by eliminating the wait between impulse and purchase online or offline anywhere, anytime, by enabling them to make payments with smartphones, through printed tags, printed media, billboards and even TV and radio broadcasts.

Teller Business Development Director Dorthe Glenhoj said: “This partnership will allow us to grow our value proposition for merchants, providing them with cutting-edge payment systems to better engage with their customers and continue to position Teller as the Number One preferred acquirer in the Nordic countries.”
