Aliant Payments launches POS system with 30-day free trial

Credit card processing and merchant services provider Aliant Payment Systems has launched a new point-of-sale system. Aliant POS is an iPad-driven, cloud-based computerised checkout network system that carries the functions and features of a server-based system.

The new product is available through Aliant’s partnership with POS provider Shopkeep.com. Aliant POS is accessible through the Apple iPad, allowing merchants to run their businesses from a mobile device. Shopkeep will provide the actual cloud software, and Aliant will purchase and custom configure the hardware to meet each client.

“Aliant POS comes with a risk-free 30-day trial so businesses can try it out and see how it works for their specific needs,” said Eric Brown, CEO of Aliant Payment Systems. “We’ll provide and customize the cash drawers, wireless printers, iPad stands and other accessories to help them get up and running. If they’re not satisfied with it, they can return it within 30 days at no cost.”

Aliant offers debit card and credit card processing services that work with the cloud-based system. Other services integrated with Aliant POS include inventory control, employee management, sales and cost reporting, and payment processing of all major credit cards and debit cards, as well as gift cards.
