Aconite, a provider of EMV transaction processing and chip card issuing solutions, has announced that its Smart EMV Manager technology has been interfaced to the Visa Mobile Gateway.
Visa Mobile Gateway will enable remote management of the EMV application at the Tap n Pay service – the mobile phone application for contactless payments in the Greek market, introduced by one of Greece’s leading banks in partnership with Visa Europe and First Data.
“We are delighted to be supporting this innovative development in mobile payments. The flexibility and ease of integration of Aconite’s solutions, coupled with our expertise in the fields of EMV payments and mobile technology, make us natural partners for card issuers and service providers moving into the mobile arena.” said Patrick Regester, Aconite’s EVP Sales and Marketing. “As the digital payments market starts to demand HCE and tokenisation in addition to Secure Element solutions, Aconite will continue to be at the forefront of enabling and supporting these ground-breaking technologies.”
