Fiserv redesigns Corillian online banking for ‘tablet-inspired’ user experience

Fiserv has redesigned Corillian Online® ASP with a simplified, tablet inspired interface in recognition of the growing number of consumers who are banking from smartphones and tablets.

The new interface for the online banking solution is designed to resonate across multiple digital channels with its simple navigation and large touchable objects that lend themselves to access through touchable interfaces. The most commonly used online banking and payments functionality is surfaced together on a single page. This includes viewing balance and transaction details, viewing and paying bills and money transfers.

Corillian has largely been implemented by small to mid-sized institutions. The new model makes customisation easier, includes a configuration module that allows financial institutions to customize visual and operational features such as colours and account and security settings quickly, without the expense of professional service fees. The service also utilizes multi-layered security.

While mobile and tablet growth continues, online banking remains the most preferred channel through which consumers interact with their financial institution.

“Online banking continues to be the foundational experience of digital banking,” said Jim Tobin, senior vice president and general manager, Digital Channels, Fiserv. “It’s important to get online right, because so many other channels extend from it. The way people are interacting with their finances today is much more mobile and interconnected, and the redesign of Corillian Online ASP responds to that trend.”
