Collinson Group name new CIO

Collinson Group has announced the appointment of Chris Lord as chief information officer (CIO).

In his role, Chris Lord will lead Collinson Group’s global technology strategy, which spans across different areas including loyalty, assistance, redemption, insurance and customer benefits. Lords appointment follow the acquisition of Welcome Real-Time, a provider of payment based loyalty platforms.

Chris has over 20 years of experience in analytics, product development, loyalty and customer insight. Hi most previous role was chief technology officer at Dunnhumby, the developers of the Tesco Clubcard.

Prior to Dunnhumby, Lord was CIO at DST global solutions and senior technical director at Thomson Reuters.
