Lebanese commercial bank Al-Mawarid is adding Misys’ mobile and online banking solutions to its digital offerings.
Financial software company Misys offers a portfolio of mobile and online solution under the Misys FusionBanking Essence Digital umbrella, which enable banks to use digital channels as successful sales channels. They also use gamification, geo-location and social media integration to serve the younger generation of banking customers.
“Al-Mawarid Bank has a commitment to its customers to provide personalised assistance, high quality products and to continually innovate,” said Nahla Khaddaj BouDiab, COO at Al-Mawarid Bank. “Moving beyond transaction-based ‘first generation’ digital strategies will set us apart from other banks in the region.”
“Digital is the future of banking,” added Fady Fiani, sales director for Levant & South Asia at Misys. “Smartphone banking is the new playing field on which banks will compete.”
The implementation is already underway, and the digital solutions are being integrated with the bank’s core banking system, the company says.
