Startupbootcamp’s Asia programme names 2015 finalists

Ten new fintech startups have won places in Startupbootcamp FinTech’s Asian programme, including companies involved in blockchain technologies, financial Inclusion and wealth management.

The finalist teams were gathered from across the Asia Pacific region and Europe, and will benefit from extensive mentorship, guidance on go-to-market strategies, product development and scaling, across Southeast Asia from May 2015.

They will also be offered master classes on topics from lean startup principles to legal insights, S$24,500 in funding and four months free office space at Startupbootcamp FinTech hub in Singapore.

Partnerships with DBS, MasterCard, Route 66 Ventures, SBT Venture Capital,MAS and Infocomm Investments will also provide the Startupbootcamp FinTech finalists with access to pilot customers, industry data, APIs and capital.

After three months, the 10 teams will be invited to present their companies to more than 200 investors, mentors and partners during the programme’s demo day.

The 10 teams will make a “powerful cocktail that marries a bit of wealth management, a sprinkle of credit scoring and lending, a sliver of crypto, a dose of p2p payments, b2b and b2c business models, and go to market strategies that cover all of South East Asia as well as India,” said Pascal Bouvier, general partner of accelerator partner Route 66 Ventures.

This year’s programme will include Bankguard, Bw8 Trading, Cryptosigma, DeBuNe, Otonomos, Dragon Wealth, Kashmi, Creditseva, KyePot and SkolaFund.
