Retail technology company Bindo has partnered with Powa technologies and APG China. Together they will create a versatile point of sale solution for retailers in Greater China.
Bindo focuses specifically on IPad POS solutions for retailers and restaurants. Powa technologies specialise in retail commerce and technology hardware, whereas APG China is a renowned cash drawer producer. Powa technologies announced the collaboration at Cards & Payments Asia 2015 in Singapore.
The new partnership sees the introduction of the PowaPOS T25, a tablet-based POS hardware solutions which can be integrated with all retail peripherals.
Included in the bundle is a 2D barcode scanner and thermal printer, as well an all in one sophisticated, space-saving design. The Bindo/PowaPOS bundle also integrates with the APG cash drawer. This bundle will allow Bindo users greater accessibility when using a POS device.
‘‘Our partnership is a direct response to the rising trend of the incorporation of advanced technologies in the retail industry and is the first iPad POS with integrated POS hardware in Asia,’’ said Ben Wong, VP of Business Development at Bindo.
‘‘The iPad POS retail industry is still fairly new. This integration will allow us to transform business for everyday retailers, and leverage design and advanced functionality of PowaPOS by integrating a powerful software solution with the incorporation of APG Cash Drawers,’’ continued Wong.
