goSwiff continues Middle East expansion with new Dubai office

The mobile commerce and marketing solutions provider, goSwiff, announced today the opening of its new Dubai office. The demand for mobile payment services is increasing rapidly in the Middle East region and goSwiff hope the new office will satiate consumer demand.

Dubai has become a technological hub with programmes like Smart City that aim to stimulate and encourage e-commerce, payments and solutions throughout the region. The firm aims to make the most of the city’s forward thinking outlook.

“There is a growing traction especially from delivery merchants in the UAE to use mPOS for immediate card transactions, increasing drastically their revenue generation. The other merchant category praising the solution are luxury retail boutiques,” said Svyatoslav Garal, head of Eastern Europe & Middle East, goSwiff.

He also says that luxury boutiques are benefitting greatly from this:  “they can leverage the mobile wallet functionality and Value Added Services on our mobile payment platform to offer unique shopping experiences to their valued customers”.

Simone Ranucci Brandimarte, CEO of goSwiff said that consumers want to be able to accept payments on the go and in remote places: “This is especially important in the countries where the infrastructure does not support traditional POS transactions,” he commented.

goSwiff made the announcement at this week’s Cards & Payments Middle East 2015 conference.
