Apriva enables chip and pin cards for mPOS with Miura

Apriva, provider of end-to-end wireless transaction and information solutions, and Miura Systems, a UK-based mPOS platform provider, have announced their partnership and product integration, which certifies Miura’s M010 hardware to Apriva’s AprivaPay Plus mPOS application.

“As chip card acceptance grows the market will demand more versatile mobile point of sale solutions. There is currently a gap in the market for a comprehensive solution that addresses EMV, Chip and PIN, NFC and other emerging technologies,” said David Riddiford, President at Apriva.

“Partnering with Miura allows us to not only fill that gap but provide the ability to adapt with market needs and provide an all-in-one, future-proof mobile commerce solution to customers.”

Integrating Apriva’s AprivaPay Plus mPOS application with the Miura M010 will deliver a comprehensive Bluetooth v4.0 EMV and NFC contact-less mobile POS card reader to merchants.

Miura’s Chip and PIN capabilities will provide merchants with the ability to accept both Chip and Signature and Chip and PIN cards, ensuring that merchants will be able to accept the next generation of payments, while Apriva’s any-to-any connections provide the most comprehensive network of payment partners available in the U.S.

Additionally AprivaPay Plus comes with a Merchant Portal that enables merchants to track and manage inventory, run and export sales and tax reports, create users, and open customer support tickets while on the go.
