Mobilearth, an omni-channel mobile banking provider, has added Belize-based Heritage International Bank to its network, with the bank now using Mobilearth’s mobile and online banking solutions.
Established in 2005, Mobilearth helps financial institutions move closer towards digital banking with its omni-channel approach. Heritage will now have access to Mobilearth’s payment applications and online solutions.
Heritage International is the sister company of Heritage Bank, a group that has been partners with Mobilearth for over 8 years.
This is Mobilearth’s second partnership with a financial institution based in Central America, with the Belize-based bank opting to completely overhaul its payment technology.
‘‘It comes down to having a single solution from a centralized site,’’ commented William M. Ysaguirre Jr, Heritage International’s director of operations and information technology.
‘‘Instead of going to multiple areas for online banking services, now you just go to one. It’s much more efficient for everybody.’’
Ysaguirre aims to use the new partnership to expand Heritage’s consumer base, as well as providing a solution that other financial institutions in Belize don’t have.
‘‘I find Heritage International to be forward thinking and leaders of the financial community in Belize,’’ said Tia Lee, Mobilearth CEO.
‘‘They are always first to market with new ideas that really bring home the convenience of mobile.’’
