Emergent Payments, a secure transactions firm that helps international merchants, has partnered with Optimal Payments, an online solutions provider, in order to expand its global reach and help merchants accept a greater amount of payments.
Support to international merchants
Through the agreement, Optimal will integrate its NETELLER service and Net+ Card Stored Value tools into Emergent’s product line.
The NETELLER platform provides merchants access to emerging markets such as Latin America and South East Asia, regions that Emergent is already familiar with. The platform also offers merchants with 100 different payment methods and 24/7 customer service availability.
Formerly called Live Gamer from 2007-2014, Emergent now focuses on helping merchants around the world accept contactless payments.
Specialising in helping merchants sell goods in high-growth markets including China, South East Asia, Latin America and India, Emergent will now be able to give its customer base access to additional payment methods via its partnership with Optimal.
‘High quality payment solutions’
The partnership will also help Emergent expand its international presence, something that Mitch Davis, Emergent’s CEO and chairman, welcomes with open arms.
‘‘At Emergent Payments, we are focused on providing the deepest set of payment methods in the $1.7T emerging markets space, and the highest conversion rates for our Merchants. Fast growing markets like LATAM, Asia, India and MENA are driven by local methods other than credit cards.’’
‘‘This partnership with Optimal Payments allows us to deliver an even wider range of high quality payment solutions within our Pay+ platform to cater to our clients’ business growth needs.’’
