TNS HELPS ADISTA LAUNCH DEDICATED NEW MERCHANT COMMUNICATIONS PLATFORM

March 31, 2016 – Merchants across France can now benefit from a comprehensive new communications solution from leading IP services provider Adista, after the company signed a new agreement with Transaction Network Services (TNS).

The move will see TNS work in partnership with Adista as it enters this new market, with TNS providing payments capabilities for Adista’s MPLS network via the TNSLink and TNSConnect solutions. The MPLS service has been designed to serve all retailer communications needs within a single private network, including payments transactions and other services, such as VoIP data.

Jean-Pascal Macchi, Head of Adista’s National Business Unit for “Editeurs & Wholesale / Monétique”, said: “We pride ourselves in providing our clients with innovative and strategically important IT and IP services, and are delighted to be launching our new MPLS network today. The inclusion of electronic payments is logical and vital in this vision. After investigating the solutions available, we quickly concluded that TNS was the premier company in this field and their technology combines perfectly with ours.

“With TNS, our MPLS network is complemented by highly secure feature-rich solutions, ideally suited to retailers with electronic payment needs. Specifically, our customers will benefit from a valuable asset, a value added service with a “one stop shop” for MPLS and IP electronic banking needs, managed by Adista.”

Merchants using the new MPLS solution will see payments transactions centralized and submitted to the TNS network for onward routing to the relevant acquirers and processors. TNS’ global reach boasts more than 400 payments-specific endpoints, including major card schemes, banks, acquirers and processors.

Lisa Shipley, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of TNS’ Payment Network Solutions, said: “This alliance combines the strengths of both partners. Our fully managed TNSLink and TNSConnect solutions deliver secure, resilient, managed payments connectivity while Adista’s specialised professional networks integrate the technologies into a single platform helping to simplify the complex communications requirements of French retailers.”

TNSLink and TNSConnect support high-speed transaction transport via a range of bandwidth options. Real-time monitoring of high volume transactions gives merchants unique insights into the performance of the network.

Mr Macchi added: “We have established a very close relationship with TNS which has allowed us to develop a payment offering meeting their specific requirements and merchant needs. We are very pleased to announce our partnership as well as such a significant agreement which also confirms TNS’ leading position in France. TNS’ products and services, such as TNSLink and TNSConnect, are hugely relevant to our region, delivering many vital benefits.”
