Online payment service providers (PSPs) are companies which provide services for accepting electronic payments to merchants from various issuers. They acquire the payments and then request the information and authorisation for the transaction from issuers and card associations. Big established players such as Paypal and WorldPay are being challenged by innovative new companies, like Zong and Moneta.ru.
