Understanding crypto-assets and its underlying technology

Since the creation of the first real crypto-currency, Bitcoin, thousands of different crypto-assets have come to exist; each with their own properties and use-cases. In this course, you will learn about the technology which powers crypto-currencies, called Blockchain or DLT (distributed ledger technology) You will get an understanding of how blockchains are being used in many different industries beyond payments.

This full-day workshop will highly educational and we will also focus on contemporary practical use cases. You will get your hands dirty by using various crypto-assets in different ways. You will learn how to hold, store and spend crypto-assets and we will run practical group activities and role-play sessions to experiment with the power of crypto-assets and Blockchain technology. Bring any tech like tablets, smart-watches, phones or laptops.

Trainer: Jack Nikogosian
Jack is Head of Coinify Innovation lab and has a background in financial services, with expertise in electronic payments, entrepreneurship, and product development. Jack is also the Founder and CEO of Aryze Payments, a new fintech start-up, focused on creating a national Danish currency on a Blockchain (e-Kroner). He has been working with Blockchains and crypto-currencies since their invention through keynote presentations, consultations, software development and conceptualizations of business strategies for many different enterprises. Jack’s technical knowledge is matched by his ability to communicate in a non-technical way, to give everyone that ‘aha’ moment.
