Mobile marketing services and monetisation startup Kickanotch has raised USD500,000 in seed funding. The round was led by six angel investors and “incentivised” by Kansas Technology Enterprise Corporation. The new capital will be used to expand the firm’s cloud-based technology and mobile platform as well as to enhance its team. Kickanotch, formerly known as PRONTO! Mobile, launched its mobile app last May and has signed more than 50 corporate clients. The company’s services enable media companies and advertisers to increase their brand exposure and make better use of mobile revenue channels and consumer engagement opportunities.
