Location data provider SimpleGeo and mobile services company Urban Airship will partner to give developers the ability to send personalised push notifications, such as enabling an app to message a user about a specific local deal or event.
“We have taken our time to make sure we partner with the location experts to align with our vision of real-time, context-aware, personalised push notifications,” says Urban Airship CEO Scott Kyeton. “This will make apps a lot more useful for everybody – marketers, consumers and developers alike.”
