Mobile payments app SalesVu, which provides a cloud-based solution encompassing payment processing, pricing management, marketing and reporting, has landed USD600,000 in venture capital from a group of angel investors. The cash will be used to accelerate the company’s marketing initiatives, differentiating it from other mobile payments services such as Intuit and Square, which SalesVu claims lack comprehensive cloud infrastructure.
“SalesVu’s product addresses the real needs of today’s workforce – mobility, reporting, scalability and security – making SalesVu a compelling alternative for businesses investing in mobile payment solutions.” The application currently allows users to process credit card payments on Apple’s iPhone and iPad, charging 2.7% on all transactions, which SalesVu claims is the industry’s lowest rate.
