SpyderLynk’s Snap-to-Buy solution to be deployed in Glamour March issue


The marketing technology company and creator of 2D mobile barcode solution SnapTag will be deploying its new technology, Snap-to-Buy, in the Glamour magazine March issue through the Glamour Apothecary “shop-able” Wall. (view press release)

The solution creates a new point of purchase by allowing consumers to buy products directly from the magazine (“shop-able” wall) by scanning an advert’s 2D barcode using an app on their smartphone. During the month Glamour and 21 of its advertisers will introduce “Buy it Now” SnapTags to its readership who will also be able to “Like” adverts and “score deals.” Readers will also be able to notify friends of purchase information through a social shopping feature on Facebook.
