Raises $7 million
Ammado has raised $7 million for multinational charity donation, in a round led by Belgium-based corporate partner Saffelberg Investments, and by return angel investor John Ryan. The company supplies a platform used by large companies to allow employees across the world to donate to a chosen cause, with tax breaks and receipts going to the chapter of the charity most local to the donor. It works through an embeddable widget or a Facebook app. Dublin-based Ammado already has high-profile partners including Nokia and Coca-Cola, and provides corporations and companies with post-campaign reports on spending.
