Mobile money at the ATM
The new solution will integrate eServGlobal’s mobile money capabilities with Wincor Nixdorf’s ATM portfolio. The solution is targeted at developing countries and allows unbanked customers to deposit and withdraw cash or manage their mobile money account at the ATM. (view press release)
Hermann Salmen, head of Mobile Money Projects at Wincor Nixdorf comments that “the integration of ATMs and mobile money services is a central step in the development of an end-to-end solution because it links the world of cash to the eco-system of mobile financial services.”
The solution is being launched Monday at Mobile World Congress.
