mBlox launches mobile marketing solution


The new solution, called mBlox Engage, is cloud-based and provides real time, location-based analytics and consumer behaviour reporting on mobile (view press release). The consumer opts into the application which then delivers personalised promotions to the mobile phone based on location-aware content delivery and customer activity reporting. Retailers can use the solution to monitor the success of mobile marketing campaigns and deliver the most effective strategies based on intelligence gathered. The solution automatically reacts to customer behaviour such as, for example, adding or removing limited offers when the timeframe has expired or stock is exhausted.

Chief Marketing officer at mBlox Michele Turner says “brands must learn to deliver content to fit with their customer’s lifestyle… Our research has found that 90% of young people aged between 18 and 24 spend up to five hours a day on their mobile device, and there’s a huge opportunity for brands to capitalize on this… What will be crucial in delivering success, however, is getting the interaction right from the outset.”
