Mobile banking version 2.0
The enhanced version allows account holders to pay bills, view check images and transaction receipts and analyse balances and payments in chart form (view press release). These services add to existing services including checking balance, reviewing transaction history, transferring funds and finding local branches. Users not signed up for online banking with BBVA Compass can enrol for mobile banking directly through the app. Version 2.0 will be released for Blackberry, Android, iPad and PlayBook soon.
Alex Carilles, executive vice president and director of Mobile and Online Strategies at BBVA Compass says the enhanced app is “unlike any other mobile banking app on the market… Mobile banking is growing and evolving at a rapid pace… Because this new app is based on exclusive in-house development, we will be able to add more features, more frequently.”
