Rewarding innovation in NFC mobile phone technology
The competition will take place in Shoreditch Studios, London, from 8am on Saturday 24th to 8pm on Sunday 25th March (view press release). During the 36 hours, designers and developers will converge to compete in creating innovative new uses for NFC mobile phone technology. Competitors will execute their ideas using the Proxama TouchPoint NFC marketing platform, a web facility upon which branded NFC campaigns can be built and campaign activity tracked and evaluated. Innovations will be judged based on their commercial viability and ability to be deployed within a year’s time. The prize will comprise of up to £10,000 of technical and commercial support to transform the winner’s idea into a reality.
Neil Garner, founder of Proxama, and who will be a panel judge at the event, said “now that NFC technology is becoming more accessible, events like this that encourage experimentation and familiarisation with it deserve to be supported.”
