Speeding up merchant payment processing
Card payment processor Streamline is looking to speed up merchant payment processing through authenticated IP connectivity from Transaction Network Services (TNS) (view press release). TNS’s Secure SSL Gateway, an IP POS terminal solution, will provide the payment exchange between card POS terminals and Streamline’s processing platforms. TNS claims its solution provides an additional layer of security than the minimum required by PCI DSS and will enable Streamline merchants to enjoy faster payment processing, shorter queues and cost savings by removing dedicated dial lines.
Matt Rowsell, Chief Commercial Officer at Streamline said “security was our number one focus in migrating to IP technology and TNS was the only provider that demonstrated both a clear understanding of our needs and the capability to deliver.”
