eMerchantPay Group partners with WorldTicket for instant online payment processing capabilities

The new partnership will provide airlines with access to online payment acceptance and processing capabilities integrated with WorldTicket’s Sell More Seats online sales and reservation system (view press release). The solution saves airlines from having to seek merchant account approval and from going through the technology selection and integration processes. Through the service, start-up airlines will be able to take business straight away, allowing customers to make travel reservations and purchase tickets online anytime/anywhere in wide a range of languages, currencies and payment methods.   

Large-scale, world-wide online payment processing can be complicated and confusing for a new market entrant and even for mid-tier carriers,” said eMerchantPay chairman Jonas Reynisson. “This is an ideal solution for small- and medium-size airlines because it provides an undisputed competitive advantage with little to no implementation effort,” continues World Ticket CEO Lasse Meilsoe.

Miran Aviation will be the first airline to use the solution.
