The new partnership will see MICROS Systems, an information technology provider for the hospitality and retail industries, implement its Google Wallet compatible POS terminals at Pinkberry yoghurt stores (view press release). The Google Wallet payment method is currently offered at 69 Pinkberry stores around the US.
Tony DiCenzo, senior vice president of IT at Pinkberry comments that “the roll out of Google Wallet underscores our goal of using innovative technology to enhance our customers’ experience. Now, with just a swipe of a smartphone, consumers can purchase Pinkberry products.”
The Google Wallet is currently only available on the Nexus S from Sprint.
