Real-time targeting
Buysight, targeted display ad developer, has closed a USD8m Series B financing round, with money from existing investors ONSET Ventures and Rembrandt Venture Partners. Buysight is also appointing Brian Ball as VP of business operations and account management, and is moving its offices from Palo Alto to Sunnyvale, where the company hopes to double its employee base. The new round brings Buysight’s funding total to USD18m. The firm is spending the money on developing Buysight’s platform, growing its engineering and operations teams, and expanding its sales force. Buysight uses data-driven real-time targeting to improve the effectiveness of online display advertising.
