Using Malauzai’s ‘Mobile 2.0,’ technology, the partnership will focus on developing solutions that enable community banks and credit unions to offer mobile banking functionality to their account holders (view press release). Malauzai states that it’s mobile banking ‘smartapps’ link directly to the ‘core’ of a financial institution and can tailor applications to suit the specific needs of the account holder with services such as bill pay, P2P fund transfer, debit card on/off security and card marketing reward programmes. Through the partnership, CFC will add these capabilities to its existing RDC Managed Services platform that includes remote deposit capture, remittance, lockbox and mobile capture.
