Payment processing of online registry system
Through the agreement Hockey Canada will deploy Optimal’s NETBANX service for the payment processing of its online registry system (HCR) (view press release). The HCR online registry system manages the registrations of around 565,000 players and 180,000 participants of the associations governed by Hockey Canada’s 13 member branches. The NETBANX solution integrates directly into the HCR system and enables the payment of registration fees with Visa, MasterCard, INTERAC Online, and direct bank debits. Payments can be made as one offs or in instalments. The solution can also be used to process payments for services such as tournaments, merchandise sales and fundraising activities.
“We are pleased to be able to offer online payment options to players and participants while significantly reducing the workload of processing paper based registrations for associations,” said Optimal Payments COO Danny Chazonoff.
