
Compatible with the MIFARE family
The Swedish contactless smart card and terminal developer is rolling out the CAS2340 dual interface smart card reader for Casio IT-800 handheld terminals (view press release). The reader fits in a plastic case which is connected to the back of the terminal and provides a mobile solution for NFC-enabled mobile payments as well as other applications such as public transport e-ticketing, verification of ID cards and driver licences and ticket validation for events. The reader is compatible with the MIFARE family and supports Smart MX, Calypso and ISO/IEC 18092.
