
Developing its mobile platform
Online payment company, WePay, has scored USD10 million in a funding round led by Ignition Partners with existing investors Highland Capital Partners and August Capital also participating. The firm provides a means of accepting payments online for merchants, non-profit organisations and individuals. The capital will be used to further develop the firm’s technology, in particular its mobile platform, and to expand the company’s team of 40 in Palo Alto.
