Ready to execute aggressive rollout strategy
Mobile solution provider, 2ergo Group, is entering into agreement with 6 major EPoS manufactures and distributers in support of podifi, its recently launched contactless mobile payment and loyalty technology (view press release). The new partners include Casio Electronics, YCR, ICR Touch, Geller, Uniwell and Sharp Electronics. Collectively, they represent a significant proportion of the UK market with around 500,000 EPoS installations across the country. Podifi is a ‘plug and play’ mobile solution that enables contactless transactions by tapping a smartphone on a small pod attached to the cash till. The solution’s mobile marketing platform is a self -service web tool that enables merchants to launch mobile coupon based offers, deals and loyalty programmes. The service also provides analytics of all transactions.
“Partnering with EPoS industry leaders means that retailers can be sure that podifi is fully compatible with their existing systems,” said 2ergo CEO, Neale Graham. “We firmly believe that podifi is the missing piece in the point of sale voucher, coupon and contactless mobile payment world. Following months of extensive testing and collaboration, that view has now been validated by EPoS leaders and professionals. We are now ready to execute our aggressive rollout strategy.”
