doxo, a digital file cabinet and e-payment solution provider, is launching single click mobile payment capabilities and a new smartphone app for Android called doxo Mobile (view press release). Already released for iPhone, both apps feature doxoPAY, a mobile bill payment and management solution enabling users to receive and pay bills from their smartphone or tablet.
The new doxoPAY functionality enables iPhone and Android users to manage their payment and household accounts and documents, and receive and pay all their bills from one account in a single application. Key features include mobile bill payment, mobile bill management, digital file cabinet and secure back up. doxoPAY is looking to increase its reach by partnering with a growing list of service providers including AT&T, Sprint, Puget Sound Energy, Kansas City Power and Light, Sound Community Bank and Oregon Federal Credit Union.
“The doxo mission is to massively simplify the experience of interacting with providers and paying bills,” said doxo CEO Steve Shivers. “The new capabilities of our mobile app make bill paying simpler, so much so that doxo users are paying their bills an average of 10 days sooner than they would through traditional mail. doxo Mobile takes the hassle out of bill payment, and provides a free service for businesses to offer to their customers, without having to develop their own app.”
