International calls without the need to enter a PIN
epay, a payment processing division of Euronet Worldwide, is launching Ria PINless Calling in conjunction with its sister company, Ria Financial Services (view press release). The solution enables users to make international calls without the need to enter a PIN when calling from a registered phone number as the prepaid account is automatically detected. Other features of the service include registering unlimited phone numbers so more than one family member can access the account, and speed dial. New customers to the service receive a free trial of USD2 and customers receive a bonus of USD5 for referrals.
The product is currently active in around 42,000 epay locations across the US, and Ria locations are scheduled to roll out the product to their US network in phases this summer.
