Series A funding
Virtual wallet Lemon has raised USD8 million in a Series A round led by Maveron, with participation from Draper Jurvetson and The Social+Capital Partnership also participating. Users take photos of their credit and debit cards using their smartphones, and then store them in Lemon’s digital wallet. Each credit card is locked behind a four-digit security code for protection. Users can also use the app to photograph and file their receipts to manage their finances.
