Automated, recurring billing of the reseller’s customers
TXT180.com has chosen Authorize.net as a payment gateway for their reseller billing system (view press release). TXT180, a mass text message marketing service provider, has developed and implemented an integrated billing system for TXT180 text marketing resellers which allows for automated, recurring billing of the reseller’s customers. For the billing system to work correctly resellers will need to sign up with a merchant account provider and gain Authorize.net access. TXT180 has a partnership with Merchant Warehouse who provides free Authorize.net access with a merchant account.
Authorize.net is an online payment gateway. When someone makes a purchase online through shopping cart software, via a mobile phone, a payment gateway will be used to accept and process the transaction information. TXT180 has chosen Authorize.net as the exclusive payment gateway provider for their system. TXT180 SMS resellers can choose any merchant account they want to use but they must have Authorize.net access for managing transactions, creating reports, etc. Joining the white label reseller program makes it possible for an individual to add the text marketing service to an existing marketing business or allows an entrepreneur to create an entire business as an SMS service provider. Current or new TXT180 resellers can sign up for the new billing system from his/her reseller control panel. When the upgrade is complete the reseller will be prompted to enter the API keys from the Authorize.net account. No matter who the reseller chooses to sign up with for merchant services, he will need to verify that he will have Authorize.net access.
