A single, multi-network, personal digital identity
J.P. Morgan, BBVA and Santander are adopting SWIFT’s 3SKey solution for authentication and digital signatures in Latin America (view press release). 3SKey is a signing mechanism for corporates and financial institutions. It is designed to secure the exchange of information in banking applications and enable corporate users to manage their various banking relationships with a single, multi-network, personal digital identity. The solution is offered in around 50 countries worldwide by 26 banking groups and 45 application providers.
J.P. Morgan is leveraging 3SKey with a number of clients over its proprietary web portal whilst BBVA has already implemented the solution in several Latin American countries including Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela. Santander is planning to offer the solution through its global portal for corporate clients.
