Billeo, a developer of time and money saving apps, is launching Zip Thru Pay and Zip Thru Buy to speed up the online shopping and bill payment experience (view press release). Zip Thru Pay gives financial institutions and card issuers the ability to provide a Pay Now button on an online bill payment platform. Consumers can then pay instantly with a credit, debit or prepaid card in one click without leaving the institution’s website or app. Zip Thru Buy allows a website or app that features products from multiple merchants to provide a Buy Now button that enables consumers to make a purchase without going to the merchant site.
By leveraging Billeo’s Active-Context Platform and biller directories, the new solutions allow businesses to drive purchases and enable card-based bill payments directly from a website, mobile or tablet app, without building connections to each biller. The technology simplifies the payment process for the consumer by navigating the checkout process, auto-filling the payment details and capturing transaction confirmation.
