
PayPal Prepaid MasterCard card
As part of a its retail expansion plans, general purpose reloadable prepaid debit card provider, NetSpend Holdings, is making the PayPal Prepaid MasterCard card available for purchase at its franchised, company owned 7-Eleven retail stores across the US (View press release).
“Because of our current partnership with 7-Eleven, the convenience store company will be the first major retailer to offer the PayPal prepaid card to consumers throughout the U.S.,” said Dan Henry, NetSpend’s CEO.
The card can be used for online and in-store purchases wherever Debit MasterCard is accepted. Additionally money can be loaded onto the card through direct deposit or at around 130,000 reload locations across the US. The card is available now and will be sold at around 5,500 stores upon full roll out later this year. In order to use the card, users must have a PayPal account.
