NCR Silver
PoS solution provider, NCR Corporation, is launching NCR Silver, a cloud-based PoS software platform for small businesses (view press release). The device operates on iPad, iPhone and Ipod Touch and allows small business owners and entrepreneurs to take payments and manage their business with a single PoS solution.
The solution enables merchants to track inventory, transactions and profit margins, and access the information from any computer with internet access. Other features include template and marketing facilities for launching digital marketing campaigns and the solution can be combined with a credit card reader, iPad stand, wireless receipt printer and wireless cash drawer to enable merchants to take payments on the go.
NCR Silver is priced from USD 79 for a monthly basic package subscription; this includes the PoS software, back-office analytics and reporting, on-going alerts, digital marketing tools, customer care and hardware replacement.
