Japanese printing company, Dai Nippon Printing (DNP), is collaborating with mobile transactions technology provider, C-SAM, on an m-wallet solution that will be integrated with DNP’s Trusted Service Manager solution, smart card offerings and NFC technologies and digital services (view press release). As part of the deal, DNP has been licensed C-SAM’s Mobile Transaction Platform (MTP). The C-SAM MTP is designed to tackle the issue of managing multiple mobile devices and operating systems, secure elements, and connections to multiple third party systems for conducting secure NFC or barcode transactions associated with payments, rewards, coupons, ticketing and related services.
The new m-wallet solution will be offered to mobile operators, retailers, banks, healthcare organisations and other service providers in Japan and internationally. Users will be able to select from a number of mobile services including payment, offers, coupons, banking and loyalty.
