
New m-banking app
Jordan Ahli Bank is launching a mobile banking application, Ahli Mobile (view press release). The service will be available to all of Ahli Bank’s clients. The service is compatible with most smartphones and will shortly be available on Android and Blackberry devices. Ahli Mobile enables its users to locate the branch closest to them, to transfer funds internally from their accounts, to check exchange rates, credit cards, to apply for loans and to budget their expenses.
“We are proud to be amongst the first financial institutions to provide mobile banking services in the Kingdom, this will allow us to solidify our position in the market as providers of diversified service offerings to our clients,” said deputy CEO, head of Group Personal Banking and Local Branch Management, Ahmad Al Khub. “Our ultimate goal is to provide our clients with a distinguished banking experience. Having said that, we are confident that our service will receive high demand and acceptance amongst its users.”
