Helping to monetize users
Fortumo, a mobile services provider, is introducing subscription payments for digital content, reports The Paypers. Online, application and game developers will now be able to monetize their users on a consistent basis on any platform from online web and mobile web to HTML5 and in-app purchases. The service has been rolled out to a number of game websites.
Fortumo’s subscription payments are based on mobile operator billings, with users activating payments using their mobile phone. A daily, weekly, or monthly charge is then added to their mobile operator bill without any additional action needed.
