payvia is launching a new m-payments service and is entering into a partnership with Sprint, a provider of wireless and wireline communication services and telecommunications company, T-Mobile USA (view press release). Through the deal, payvia merchants will be able to accept payments via mobiles powered by payvia carrier billing.
payvia, which is part of m-Qube, a carrier billing transaction network, allows consumers to use their mobile phones to purchase digital goods and services online or from their mobile device, adding purchases directly to their carrier bill. payvia’s carrier billing technology is designed to optimise online, on-device and in-app purchases of digital goods and online services, to deliver more paying customers to merchants.
