Metro Bank is signing a contract with Computer Services, Inc, (CIS) a provider of end-to-end technology solutions, to enhance its core bank processing capabilities (view press release). The bank will employ CIS’s NuPoint solution, a customisable core banking platform that supports a number of integrated solutions. Through the integration, Metro Bank aims to eliminate hardware and software investments required for in-house systems.
“Prior to signing on with CSI, we were facing operational challenges with our existing core platform and needed a solution to simplify the day-to-day tasks of our employees,” said Lori Elam, chief financial officer of Metro Bank. “In the short time that we’ve become acquainted with the CSI team, we’ve experienced tremendous support from their well-trained customer service assistants and are fully confident that we will see significant enhancements in our business overall as we move forward with implementation.”
Metro Bank expects to complete its core processing conversion this autumn.
