PNC Bank has been selected by retail ATM owner, Cardtronics to brand its portfolio of Harris Teeter-located ATMs (view press release). Harris Teeter is a chain of supermarkets based predominately in the Southern states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland and Delaware. PNC customers will be able to use the ATMs for free during Harris Teeter store hours, including those open 24 hours a day. Users will also be able to transfer money, check balances on checking and savings accounts and withdraw cash. The deal is a continuation of the ATM branding relationship established by the companies in 2005.
