Fnbox, a Latin American company that creates global internet businesses has chosen Adyen’s hosted payments solution to facilitate the international expansion of its internet properties (view press release). Fnbox hopes to expand its websites; Cuponica.com, Recarga.com and Tarjestasstelefonicas.com in Brazil, US and Europe. The company currently uses a local Argentinian payments provider, but will transition its global payments needs to Adyen. Amsterdam-headquartered Adyen provides internet solutions including processing technology, transparent financial reporting and deep business intelligence for merchants around the world.
“With our Internet services well established throughout Brazil and Latin America, Fnbox is now looking to attract new customers among the larger Spanish and Portuguese-speaking populations throughout the United States and Europe,” said Rodrigo Teijeiro, founder and CEO at Fnbox. “To do this quickly and cost effectively, we needed a global payments partner like Adyen, who already has a deep knowledge and understanding of the payments landscape in our expansion markets and existing banking relationships to accelerate our time to market.”
